Our Mission
TO MAKE DISCIPLES WHO LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, AND SEEK THE GOOD OF THE CITY.
Our Vision
a multiethnic community of all generations and backgrounds Experiencing renewal through life in Jesus.
Why Do We Exist?
Our mission statement seeks to answer the question: why do we exist?
Our mission is the same mission Jesus gave the church from the very beginning–the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36–40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20). As we await Jesus’ return and His Kingdom coming in full, we embrace His call to seek the good of our neighbors, neighborhoods, and city (Luke 10:25-37).
Our vision statement aims to answer the question: what do we envision for our future as we accomplish our mission by God’s grace?
Our vision flows from our understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the kingdom He is building and establishing through His Church, on earth as it is in heaven. A diverse church reflects the reconciling work of the cross (Ephesians 2:13-16), participates in the story of the church from the beginning (Acts 2), and anticipates God’s eternal family from every tribe, tongue, and nation (Revelation 7:9-12). We seek unity in diversity as we experience renewal through life in Jesus (John 15:4; Romans 6:5; Galatians 2:20; 1 John 4:13).
